If you’re not into one of your matches, you can remove their profile before communication begins or any time after that. You can get rid of a match by going to their profile and then clicking on the menu (the three dots) on the top-right of their profile:

For matches that you haven’t communicated with yet, you’ll see the option to “Delete Match.”
For matches that you’re already in communication with, you’ll see the option to “Remove Contact.” Additionally, from within your Messages section, you can click on the menu in the top right of your inbox and click “Remove Contact” from here. You’ll be asked to select a reason for removing the contact and you’ll be given the option to leave a goodbye message if you choose.

Removing or deleting a Match deletes them from your account permanently, so make sure you’re ready to say goodbye. After you remove/delete them, we can’t recover their profile.

An alternative to deletion is available by hiding your profile. If you wish to simply 'Hide' your profile to take a break from the service, you can do so within your Data & Settings:

1. Log into your account
2. Click on the arrow next to your photo at the top of the screen to open the dropdown menu
3. Click the 'Data & Settings' link
4. Under the 'Profile Visibility' section, click the green slider to make your profile invisible
5. You'll see a banner on your Home Page telling you that your profile is currently not visible

On eharmony, you can share up to 12 profile pictures. We recommend taking advantage of all 12 photo options. Share pictures of yourself doing the activities you love to do: camping, skiing, hiking, surfing, cooking, traveling, etc. Share your interests with your matches. LIST HOBBIES AND INTERESTS. The change takes effect immediately and your profile will then no longer appear in the Matches list of other members. Please note the following exceptions: Members with whom you are already in contact with or whom have added you to their favorites can still see your profile.

If your account does not have a subscrption, you can delete your profile within your account by:

On the following page you can confirm the permanent deletion of your profile and your personal data by entering your login password. The field for entering the password should appear in light gray.

After deleting your profile you will no longer have access to your messages nor your matches. Additionally, deleting your profile is permanent and it isn't possible to restore your profile after it has been done.
